GPB’s Gentile Has Prison Term Commuted
President Donald Trump has freed GPB Capital Holdings founder David Gentile, who was sentenced to seven years in prison for a scheme that put over $1 billion of investor funds at risk.
It’s Trump’s latest use of clemency powers to help a white-collar criminal defendant convicted in New York federal courts. (Recently, he granted clemency to ex-Queens Rep. George Santos and Ozy Media co-founder Carlos Watson.)
