Dimon Cuts Ribbon on JPMorgan’s Park Avenue Headquarters (1)

JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s new multibillion-dollar Manhattan headquarters is officially open.

Longtime Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon cut the ribbon at 270 Park Ave. Tuesday, capping a project announced nearly eight years ago to tear down its old building and construct a new one.

“When I say it’s a physical labor of love, it was,” Dimon said. “And now you have something that’s permanent — will be here for 50 or 100 years.”
