Comey’s Daughter Sues Over Firing at SDNY

Maurene Comey, a longtime Manhattan federal prosecutor at the Southern District of New York and the daughter of former FBI director James Comey, sued the Justice Department over her abrupt firing in July.

The suit presents the latest challenge to President Donald Trump’s claim of authority to summarily fire federal employees who’ve historically been protected under civil service laws, my colleague Bob Van Voris reports.
