Leon Black and the Alexander brothers will fight sex assault claims today in two cases that could determine New York City’s ability to enforce a law providing relief for victims.
The Second Circuit will decide if a city law creating a “revival window” from 2023 to 2025 for previously time-barred sex abuse claims is preempted by a state law creating such a window from 2019 to 2021.
