BNY Sees Uptick In Junior Hires For Their AI Skills, CEO Says

Bank of New York Mellon Corp. has been hiring more analysts and interns in the past two years as artificial intelligence skills help the bank unlock more productivity, according to Chief Executive Officer Robin Vince.

Despite fears that AI would replace younger staff and threaten jobs, BNY has benefited from hiring graduates from colleges because they’re coming in with AI skills, along with energy and creativity, Vince said.
