Bally’s NYC Casino Bid Gains Support in Potential Trump Win (2)

Bally’s Corp.’s proposal to build a $4 billion casino in the Bronx gained the support of a local committee Monday, while a separate project pitched for Coney Island was rejected.

With the support from the committee, Bally’s pitch for a casino at Ferry Point will advance in its bid in the fight for a coveted downstate New York gaming license. The Coney Island proposal, a $3.4 billion project pitched by a team including real estate developer Thor Equities and the Chickasaw Nation, is now out of the process.
