Anti-abortion centers in Western New York scored a victory against Attorney General Letitia James (D) when a federal court ordered her to halt plans to enforce consumer protection laws against them, at least for now.
The facilities are likely to win on their claims that potential future litigation intended to halt their advocacy for abortion-pill reversal treatment threatens their First Amendment free speech rights, the US District Court for the Western District of New York said Thursday.
