Uber’s Potential Deal for Grubhub Needs Scrutiny, Democrats Say

U.S. regulators need to monitor Uber’s potential acquisition of Grubhub to ensure competition in the food-delivery industry isn’t harmed, four Democratic senators including Amy Klobuchar, the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary panel’s antitrust subcmte, say in letter to Justice Dept and Federal Trade Commission.
