Yum’s New CEO Has Seen Enough, Considers Offloading Pizza Hut

Just a month into becoming chief executive officer at Yum! Brands Inc., Chris Turner has decided that it might be time to ditch Pizza Hut.

Yum initiated a strategic review of the chain, which generates less than 15% of its total revenue. The company has been trying to revive Pizza Hut for a long time, but sales have been stuck at about $1 billion for years and are 20% lower than a decade ago.
