Wells Hires Deutsche Bank’s Shah for Software Banking (1)

Investment banker Tej Shah is joining Wells Fargo & Co. as co-head of software from Deutsche Bank AG, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Shah, who was most recently Deutsche Bank’s head of West Coast software, is joining Wells Fargo’s technology media and telecom investment banking business as a managing director, the person said, asking not to be identified because the details aren’t public.

Based in San Francisco, he will report to Gerry Walters, head of technology within TMT investment banking, the person said.
