Wells Fargo Taps UBS Dealmaker as Chairman of Industrials (1)

Wells Fargo & Co. has hired veteran dealmaker Eric Moskal from UBS Group AG as chairman of industrials, as it presses ahead with expanding its investment banking ranks, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Moskal will join the San Francisco-based bank as a managing director in New York after a standard period of leave, the person said, asking not to be identified because the information wasn’t public. Moskal was most recently global co-head of industrials at UBS.

A spokesperson for Wells Fargo confirmed Moskal’s hiring and declined to comment further. A representative for UBS declined to comment.
