Wells Fargo Hires Goldman’s Kevin Adam for Energy M&A (1)

Energy investment banker Kevin Adam has joined Wells Fargo & Co. from Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

Based in Houston, Adam will be a managing director focused on mergers and acquisitions involving oil and gas explorers, according to an internal company memo reviewed by Bloomberg.

Adam will also partner with the bank’s acquisitions and divestitures group, led by Art Krasny. He will report to David DeNunzio, Wells Fargo’s head of global mergers and acquisitions.

A representative for Wells Fargo confirmed the contents of the memo. A representative for Goldman Sachs declined to comment.
