Wells Fargo Hires Deutsche Bank’s Flaherty for Medtech Deals (1)

Wells Fargo & Co. has hired Karen Flaherty to lead the global medical technology investment banking effort within the lender’s health-care corporate and investment banking group.

Flaherty joins from Deutsche Bank AG, where she held a similar role, according to John Fowler, Wells Fargo’s head of health-care investment banking. She replaces Pete Cataldo, who left for Truist Financial Corp. last year. In her new role, she’ll cover medical device companies and life sciences tools and diagnostics firms and report to Fowler.
