Temasek Said to Hire Morgan Stanley Southeast Asia FIG Banker

Temasek Holdings Pte has hired Morgan Stanley’s Southeast Asia head of financial institutions group, according to people familiar with the matter.

Samrat Lal is expected to take on an investment-related role with the Singaporean state investor and to join in the next few months, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the information is private.

A Morgan Stanley spokesperson confirmed that Lal will be leaving the firm. A representative for Temasek declined to comment.
