Taubman’s PJT Hires IPO Banker Michael O’Donovan From UBS

PJT Partners Inc., the investment bank run by Paul J. Taubman, has hired Michael O’Donovan from UBS Group AG, according to people familiar with the matter, where he was most recently co-head of its group that works on initial public offerings.

O’Donovan, who worked at Morgan Stanley earlier in his career alongside Taubman, has been named partner at PJT, said one the people, who asked to not be identified discussing personnel matters. He will provide equity capital markets advice, including on how clients can court new investors or restructure their capital structure, they said.
