Tapestry Inc. and Capri Holdings Ltd. are appealing a New York judge’s decision halting a planned $8.5 billion tie-up that would place such brands as Coach, Kate Spade and Michael Kors under one roof.
The companies filed a notice of appeal Monday, an initial step toward fighting the ruling at the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
