TA Associates Agrees to Buy Advent’s Unit4 in $2 Billion Deal

Private equity firm TA Associates agreed to take over Dutch enterprise software firm Unit4 NV in a deal valued at more than $2 billion.

TA Associates signed a definitive agreement to buy a majority stake in Unit4, according to a statement Monday, which confirmed an earlier Bloomberg News report. Partners Group Holding AG will invest alongside TA Associates, while Unit4’s current controlling shareholder Advent International is exiting its investment.
