SVB Leerink Is Said to Hire Walsh to Head Equity Capital Markets

SVB Financial Group has hired Matthew Walsh from Credit Suisse Group AG to lead the equity capital markets business of its investment banking arm, SVB Leerink, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Walsh was most recently co-head of technology ECM at the Swiss bank, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing private information.

Representatives for Credit Suisse declined to comment while SVB Leerink didn’t respond to a request for comment.
