South Africa’s Life Healthcare Said to Weigh UK Asset Sale (1)

Life Healthcare Group Holdings Ltd., the South African hospital operator, is considering the sale of some UK assets, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Johannesburg-based company is working with Rothschild & Co. to identify potential suitors for all or part of the UK operations of its diagnostics business Alliance Medical Group Ltd., the people said, asking not to be identified as the matter is private.
