Solomon Partners Taps David Shiffman to Lead Investment Banking

Solomon Partners, the boutique investment bank backed by Natixis SA, has appointed David A. Shiffman as head of investment banking, a newly created role as the advisory firm expands its senior leadership.

Shiffman will oversee New York-based Solomon’s mergers and acquisitions and capital advisory businesses, according to a statement reviewed by Bloomberg News. He’ll work with Chief Executive Officer Marc Cooper and group heads on partner recruitment, business development and client engagement.
