Solomon Partners Hires Another Houlihan Banker in Tech Buildout

Solomon Partners has hired Joseph Watson to help the boutique investment bank launch its technology practice, according to a company statement.

Watson joins Solomon from Houlihan Lokey, where he worked in the firm’s tech group. He’ll enter as a managing director, according to the statement.

Solomon Partners, previously known as PJ Solomon, last year hired Craig Muir to lead the burgeoning tech practice. He also came from Houlihan. Muir will start with the firm on May 31.

The pair have worked together for nearly a decade, including at Quayle Munro, according to the statement. Houlihan bought Quayle in 2018. ...
