SocGen Is Said to Hire Senior Santander Banker Jiang in Asia

Societe Generale SA is hiring senior banker David Jiang in Hong Kong to help bolster its work in initial public offerings and placements in the Asia-Pacific region, according to people familiar with the matter.

Jiang, formerly Banco Santander SA’s head of auto, tech and financial sponsors in APAC, is expected to start with SocGen in August, focusing on industrial and technology sectors in the region, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing private information.
