Siam Makro, Major Holders Seek $1.84 Billion in Share Sale (1)

Siam Makro Pcl and its major shareholders will seek to raise 62.2 billion baht ($1.84 billion) in a public share sale to help fund its business expansion and meet Thailand stock exchange listing requirement.

The country’s biggest operator of cash-and-carry store will offer as many as 1.43 billion shares, including a greenshoe option of 130 million shares, at 43.5 baht each, according to its regulatory filing. The offering will comprise 910 million new shares and 390 million existing shares owned by three major shareholders in the Charoen Pokphand Group.
