Sean Minnihan Joins Oppenheimer to Head Fintech Group

Sean Minnihan has joined Oppenheimer Holdings Inc. from Nomura Holdings Inc. to run the middle-market investment bank’s financial technology group, according to people familiar with the matter.

Minnihan has been named managing director and head of fintech at New York-based Oppenheimer, said the people, who asked to not be identified because the matter isn’t public.

A representative for Nomura declined to comment. Oppenheimer didn’t respond to requests for comment.
