Rogers Communications Plans Data Center Sale, The Logic Says (1)

Rogers Communications Inc. is looking to sell nine of its 13 data centers to pay down debt following its landmark acquisition of Shaw Communications Inc., according to a report in The Logic, citing documents marketing the assets.

The server farms in and around Canadian cities have a lot of unused capacity, and Rogers would continue as a major client after any sale, said The Logic, a Canadian technology and business publication. Bank of Nova Scotia is assisting Rogers in seeking potential buyers, the report said.
