Redwire Strikes $925 Million Deal for Edge Autonomy

Space infrastructure company Redwire Corp. has agreed to acquire closely held Edge Autonomy for $925 million from backers including AE Industrial Partners.

Redwire will pay $150 million in cash and $775 million in Redwire common stock for Edge Autonomy, according to a statement Monday, confirming a Bloomberg News report.

The deal will boost Redwire’s revenue and cash flow while expanding its reach into “combat-proven autonomous airborne platforms,” according to the statement.
