Prosus Russian Unit Avito Draws Buyout Interest From VK, Potanin

Prosus NV is in talks with potential buyers for its Avito business in Russia, even though its unlikely to receive full value for the asset, according to people familiar with the matter.

Interested bidders in the classified ads firm include VK Co. Ltd., a Russian social-media platform part-owned by Netherlands-based Prosus, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the discussions are private. Negotiations are ongoing and there is no certainty that a deal will be concluded.
