Private Credit Targets Infrastructure Funds Hungry for Deals

Wall Street’s hottest market has a new client: infrastructure funds.

The private credit industry is targeting asset managers that themselves invested about $1 trillion last year into energy and transport industries as well as retirement homes and childcare services. A handful of deals is set to usher in more next year, according to industry practitioners.

Infrastructure funds managed by Antin Infrastructure Partners SA, EQT AB and InfraVia Capital Partners have taken part in sale processes involving private equity bidders rather than only infra peers.
