Orsted Said to Mull Over $1 Billion Sale of US Renewable Assets

Orsted A/S is exploring a sale of its onshore renewables assets in the US, people with knowledge of the matter said, as part of a pivot to its core market of offshore wind in Europe.

The Danish renewable-energy company is working with advisers on the potential divestment, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the information is private. The assets, which include onshore wind, solar and battery storage, could fetch more than $1 billion, one of the people said.
