Nordic Capital Buys Majority Stake in Danish Firm Siteimprove

Private equity firm Nordic Capital is acquiring a majority stake in Danish technology company Siteimprove A/S, it says in a statement.

The company’s current minority shareholder, Summit Partners, will divest its holding on completion of the transaction, of which terms were not disclosed.

Copenhagen-based Siteimprove was founded in 2003 by its chief executive officer Morten Ebbesen. The company has 600 employees in 15 countries, and in 2019 it generated recurring revenues of $81.6 million, according to the statement.

Ebbesen said he will stay on as a CEO and also as a “significant minority shareholder.”
