Natixis Sells Down Stake in US Boutique Adviser Solomon Partners

Natixis SAhas sold down its majority stake in Solomon Partners, in a move that hands control back to the New York-based advisory firm’s management.

“Solomon Partners has recently consummated a transaction pursuant to which it is no longer legally considered an affiliate of Natixis,” representatives for Solomon and Natixis said in an emailed response to Bloomberg queries.

Natixis remains a shareholder in Solomon and the two firms maintain a strategic relationship, the representatives said. By taking majority control, Solomon’s management will now be able to on-board clients without conflict checks with Natixis.
