Morgan Stanley Asia ECM Co-Head Abagian Quits After Two Decades

Alex Abagian, Morgan Stanley’s Asia-Pacific co-head of equity capital markets, is leaving after more than two decades at the bank.

Abagian, 46, will be replaced by Cathy Zhang, the firm’s head of China equity capital markets, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News that was confirmed by a Hong Kong-based spokesman. Zhang, who has been with the firm since 2011, will work alongside Magnus Andersson.
