Miracle-Ear Owner Amplifon Buys Up More US Points of Sale (1)

Hearing aid specialist Amplifon SpA is further ramping up its presence in the US, one of the world’s key markets for acoustic equipment, with a deal to buy a network of sales points.

The Italian company purchased around 35 stores from a franchisee of its North American brand Miracle-Ear Inc., according to a statement on Monday confirming an earlier Bloomberg report. The network, in Pennsylvania, generates around $20 million in annual revenue and employs approximately 80 people.
