IK Partners is in talks with advisers about a potential initial public offering of the private equity firm, according to people familiar with the matter.
The listing will likely take place next year, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information. Deliberations are ongoing and no final decisions have been taken about the venue or the size of the listing, they said.
The initial public offering could value the European mid-market private equity firm -- established in 1989 -- at about $1.5 billion, one of the people said. A representative for the company declined to comment.
