McDonald’s Supplier Havi Is Said to Weigh Selling Asian Assets

Havi is considering selling its cold-chain logistics business in Asia in a deal that could fetch as much as $500 million, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Chicago-headquartered firm, which supplies companies including McDonald’s Corp., is engaging with a financial adviser on a potential sale of its operations in the region, including Japan, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, the people said, asking not to be identified as the process is private.
