McAfee Sets Lender Call as Banks Ready $10 Billion Debt Package

Banks are moving ahead on McAfee Corp.’s leveraged buyout financing with a lender call scheduled for Monday amid a red-hot loan market.

The $10 billion jumbo financing package is expected to include a $5.66 billion first-lien loan, $1 billion of secured bonds, and $2.3 billion of unsecured bonds, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday. The package will also include a $1 billion revolving credit line, according to a November press statement. The lender call with be Monday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. in New York, according to a person familiar with the matter.
