KKR on Track to Beat $20 Billion Target for Americas Buyout Fund

KKR & Co. will surpass its $20 billion target for the firm’s flagship Americas private equity vehicle after it wraps up fundraising, setting a record for the strategy, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

The alternative asset manager may hit the $22 billion hard cap for North America Fund XIV as it targets a close in the first quarter, after about 18 months of fundraising, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information.
