KKR Increases Sustainability Reporting Sought by Investors

KKR & Co. is bolstering its sustainability reporting as companies expand such disclosures.

The private equity firm for the first time issued a report for investors showing how it meets environmental, social and governance guidelines developed by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, or SASB.

“While our standard ESG report is very transparent about our investment process, it didn’t really address what might be KKR’s ESG issues overall as a company,” Elizabeth Seeger, KKR’s director of sustainable investing, said in an interview.
