Kenvue Ousts CEO, Advances Strategic Review in Activist Win (1)

Kenvue Inc. said Chief Executive Officer Thibaut Mongon will leave the company as it continues to revamp the maker of Tylenol, Neutrogena and Listerine brands.

Board director Kirk Perry will take over as interim CEO, effective immediately, it said Monday.

Kenvue’s shares rose 4.2% at 9:31 a.m. on Monday in New York. They were little changed this year through Friday.

The consumer product goods company has faced a push from activist investors for changes to how the company is structured and run ever since it was spun off from Johnson & Johnson in 2023.
