JPMorgan Vice Chair of Investment Banking Lauren Camp to Depart

JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Lauren Camp, vice chair of investment banking, is leaving the firm.

She will depart after 27 years to “explore new interests and opportunities,” according to an internal memo Thursday from Jim Casey, JPMorgan’s co-head of global investment banking.

Camp has been in her current role since 2015 and was previously head of health-care leveraged finance. She started at JPMorgan as a founding member of the high-yield group and has since raised hundreds of billions of dollars for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, according to the memo.
