JPMorgan Hires Moelis’s Torrillo for Industrials Mid-Cap Banking

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has hired Carl Torrillo, most recently a managing director at Moelis & Co, for its middle-market investment banking group, according to a memo reviewed by Bloomberg News.

Torrillo will join JPMorgan as a managing director focusing on capital goods based in New York. He specialized in the industrials sector at Moelis and in previous roles at Nomura Holdings Inc. and Citigroup Inc., the memo shows.

“Carl has deep private equity relationships, which will be additive to our focus on sponsor sell-sides,” the memo said.
