JPMorgan Hires Former Citi Sponsors Dealmaker Diamandakis

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has hired Anthony Diamandakis, a former senior Citigroup Inc. investment banker, to focus on financial sponsors including private equity funds and asset managers.

Based in New York, Diamandakis will join in July as a vice chair in the Strategic Investors Group, reporting to Avery Whidden, according to a statement reviewed by Bloomberg News. Whidden is the global head of infrastructure and SIG.
