JPMorgan Buys Stake in Robert Kraft’s Sports Analytics Company

JPMorgan Chase & Co. purchased an equity stake in the sports and entertainment analytics company backed by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, gaining access to data that can help the bank expand its lending in those fields.

The partnership will pair JPMorgan’s asset and wealth management division with Kraft Analytics Group, known as KAGR, the parties said Thursday. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
