JPMorgan Adds BofA’s Sinclair for Mid-Cap Investment Banking

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has hired Andrew Sinclair, a managing director at Bank of America Corp. and the firm’s head of Midwest emerging growth and regional coverage investment banking, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Chicago-based Sinclair is set to join JPMorgan in June, reporting to John Richert, head of the bank’s mid-cap investment banking effort, said one of the people, asking not to be identified because the details aren’t public.

The hire is part of a push by the biggest US bank to expand its coverage of smaller companies.
