Scandinavia’s biggest surge in takeovers in well over a decade will continue into 2021, according to the JPMorgan Chase & Co. banker who correctly predicted this quarter’s development.

Jonas Wikmark, co-head of Nordic banking, says companies in the region are in good financial shape, having so far cleared the pandemic with little need for outside support. Investors are now lining up to help finance deals that tap into future growth.
