Jefferies Financial Group Inc. hired five Greenhill & Co. managing directors as it continues to bolster its investment bank, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.
New York-based Scott Beckelman; Brenlen Jinkens in London; Dallas-based Chris Bonfield and Todd Miller; and San Francisco-based Andy Nick will join Jefferies as managing directors in the first quarter, the person said, requesting anonymity because the appointments aren’t public. The bankers, who came to Greenhill with its 2015 acquisition of Cogent Partners, specialize in secondaries advisory services, or the business of private equity-fund stake sales, said the person.
