ING to Hire More Investment Bankers Amid Expected Deals Wave

ING Groep NV is hiring more investment bankers to advise on acquisitions and public listings in anticipation of a resurgence in deals.

The bank expects a “significant increase” in the number of deals over the next two years, ING’s Head of Corporate Financing Rob van Veldhuizen told het Financieele Dagblad newspaper in an interview on Sunday. Veldhuizen, who currently leads a team of 200 people, will increase headcount by 10%.
