Husqvarna Shares Jump as Bosch Takes 12% Stake (1)

Husqvarna AB’s shares jumped nearly 16% on Friday after German peer Robert Bosch GmbH increased its stake in the Swedish maker of chainsaws, leaf blowers and other outdoor tools.

Bosch raised its holding in Husqvarna to about 12%, a stake valued at almost 6.2 billion kronor ($600 million) at current market prices, saying it wanted to strengthen the battery alliance between the two companies, according to a statement.
