Hungary May Buy Budapest Airport ‘At Any Moment’: PM to MTI (1)

Hungary may strike a deal to buy back international Budapest Airport “at any moment,” Prime Minister Viktor Orban told state newswire MTI when speaking at an event in Serbia.

While talks are progressing, the airport owners are still negotiating the terms and structure of a potential deal and no final decision is imminent, a person familiar with the matter said.

Outstanding items include additional contingency payments on top of the purchase price that would be made based on the future business performance of the airport, the person said.
