HelloFresh Agrees to Buy Healthy Meal Delivery Company Factor75

HelloFresh SE agreed to buy Factor75, a U.S.-based meal delivery firm specializing in healthy food, for as much as $277 million in cash.

The German company will pay $177 million upfront and an additional $100 million when Factor hits certain performance metrics, HelloFresh said in a statement on Monday. Closely held Factor, which offers nutrition coaching and prepared meals that can be customized for gluten free, paleo and keto diets, is targeting sales of about $100 million this year.
